Simply wear your race bib and you're good! After the race, keep your race bib on as that becomes
your ticket for food and beverages.
On May 19, 2012, Frontier Communications and its sponsoring partners return for the 2nd annual Frontier Run 'n Fun 10K road
race. New this year: 5K Run/Walk. Managed by the Fort Wayne Track Club, the Frontier 10K is also a FWTC Points Race.
You'll experience a relatively flat, fast, and accurate 10K course through the West Central neighborhood, Main St., Nebraska
neighborhood (Osage St.), and Swinney Park. 5K course begins on the 10K course then turns onto the Greenway just after
crossing the W. Main St. bridge. It will continues on the Greenway until the Old Wells St. Bridge - crossing the bridge to
Superior, west to Ewing, then south to Pearl for the final stretch.
Immediately after finishing, warm down properly at the post-race party on The Landing in front of Columbia Street West -
just a few steps from the finish! A tasty lite lunch and a couple of beers await you while you trade race stories and enjoy live
music - all included in the entry fee!

Courses: 10K (6.2 miles) starts on Pearl St. about 1 block west of Harrison. Course runs westward through
West Central neighborhood, west on Main to Osage St. for a 2-mile loop, west on Main to
Leesburg then south to Greenway through Swinney Park, east through West Central and
back to Pearl St. 5K course starts on Pearl St. with 10K then joins the Greenway on Main St., heads
north to N. Wells St. pedestrian bridge, west on Superior, south on Ewing, then east on Pearl to finish.
Timing: Chip timing will be used
Age Groups: Men & Women top 3 in each: Overall, Masters Overall, 12-under/13-15/
16-19/20-24/25-29/30-34/35-39/40-44/45-49/50-54/55-59/60-64/65-69/70-79/80+
Post-Race Party: Entry fee includes post-race lunch, two 'penny' beers, energy drinks, bottled water, and
fruit. Your bib is your ticket to the party - wear it! Spectators welcome to join the party -
food & beverages will be sold.
Shirt: High-tech race shirt and race packet provided to all entrants.
Facilities: Abundant Port-A-Johns with hand-washing will be available. No showers will be available.
Charity: $1 per runner will be donated to New Song Mission. 'The Frontier' was able to donate $400 to New
Song Mission from last year's race!
